Movie About Heroic Black Civil Rights Leaders is at Risk of Falling Victim to Florida’s “Stop WOKE” Censorship
Filming by Top Cat II Productions is set to begin in South Florida on a full-length movie directed by and starring Mario Van Peebles called “The Price for Freedom.”
It’s about the lives of civil rights pioneers and Florida teachers Harry and Harriette Moore, and the outrageous fact that no one was ever charged for their 1951 murders, although the identities of the killers were known.
But by the time we finish making this movie, will it even be legal to show it in Florida?
